By: WJAC Web Staff

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. -- More than 2,000 people were left without power in the southern area of Cambria County Tuesday afternoon.

Officials with Penelec said a circuit breaker opened in a substation along Broad Street in Johnstown just before 1 p.m.

Officials said the power was out in parts of downtown Johnstown, Upper Yoder Township, Southmont and Westmont for about 45 minutes.

The power company was working to learn why the circuit breaker was open.
