Safety Tips To Get Hunters Through The Storm

The physical challenges of hunting can be intense, but a snowstorm makes things even worse. Kevin Johnson is director of EMS in Cameron County. Johnson says that snow doesn't stop hunters from going into the woods, but it is very dangerous. To help maintain safety, you should travel with food and water, watch for slippery logs covered by snow, use a compassand make sure you have a cellphone. Aside from these tips, Johnson says you should never go hunting alone, especially in a storm.
