By: Marc Stempka

UNIONVILLE, Pa. Residents in one Centre County community are being asked to conserve and boil their water until further notice.

Unionville Borough Mayor Angelica Wutz said Tuesday the borough has implemented mandatory water restrictions and boil water advisory for residents.

Wutz said borough officials are doing everything possible to find leaks that were generated during an emergency tanker filling activity on Sunday.

During the water conservation and boil water notice, residents are prohibited from watering lawns, gardens and landscapes as well as prohibited from washing vehicles and paved surfaces, like sidewalks and driveways.
