CLEARFIELD, Pa. -- A Jefferson County man has been sentenced for his role in two Clearfield County home invasions, with one of those targeting an elderly couple.

The Gant Daily reported Eric Britton, 30, of Falls Creek, was sentenced to four to nine years in state prison plus fine and to make restitution of $1,132 in relation to the two cases.

Britton pleaded guilty to robbery, burglary, criminal conspiracy and false imprisonment to the home invasion at an elderly couples home in Sandy Township on June 17. Investigators said Britton, Jeffrey Sprague, 29, of DuBois, and Austin Eheart, 20, of Palmyra, Va., broke into the couples home.

Investigators were also able to pinpoint the three men to another incident in DuBois on June 12, where they broke into a house and assaulted a man.

In December, Sprague pleaded guilty to robbery, burglary and other charges related to the incidents. He was sentenced to seven to 14 years in state prison. Eheart also pleaded guilty in relation to the home invasions in November, being sentenced eight to 16 years in state prison.
