ST. MARYS, Pa. -- Police have released more details in a crash that injured four people in Elk County Wednesday night.

St. Marys police said pickup truck driven by James Dunshie, 26, of Force, collided with a car driven by Shanti Raju, 34, of St. Marys, while both vehicles were traveling north on Route 255 (St. Marys Street) near Jeep Road.

Police said the collision forced the truck to hit the curb, go over a guiderail and down an embankment into a creek.

Police said Tiffany Potts, 29, of Johnsonburg, Amanda Sidelinger, 25, of Weedville, and Rachel Goetz, 21, of Weedville, were passengers in Dunshies truck.

Police said Dunshie, Sidelinger and Goetz were not wearing seat belts and were ejected from the pickup. Potts, who was also not wearing a seat belt, was trapped in the vehicle and had to be cut out by firefighters.

Police said Sidelinger was flown to UPMC Altoona with critical injuries and then transferred to a Pittsburgh hospital for further treatment. Dunshie, Potts and Goetz were transported to Elk Regional Health Center for treatment of their injuries. There conditions were not released.

Raju was not injured in the crash, police said.
