Four injured in Clearfield Co. crash

By: Marc Stempka

CHEST TOWNSHIP, Pa. Four people were injured in a single-vehicle crash in Clearfield County Tuesday afternoon.

Clearfield County emergency officials confirmed the crash happened at about 3:45 p.m. in the 4700 block of Westover Road in the area of Westover Hill in Chest Township.

Troopers say four teens from Harmony High School were hurt in the crash.

Three were flown to the hospital, while the other was taken by ambulance.

State police wouldn't give specifics on the extent of their injuries. They said they are serious.

Troopers worked for hours after the crash to reconstruct the accident, telling 6 News they believe speed was a factor.

State police are still investigating and the names of the teens involved have not been released because they are underage.
