Fire crews battle shed fire in Huntingdon County

By: Lauren Hensley

MILLER TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Huntingdon County firefighters were called to an explosion in Miller Township.

Crews tell us a storage building caught fire around 2 p.m. on Horning Woods Road. Firefighters had a tough time fighting the flames because of the snowy and narrow roads. About 2,000 feet of water line was used to put the fire out.

"We knew it would be a challenge getting up here with the weather conditions it was a decision to lay down a line supply line the whole way up the lane so we had a water supply established, Noah Yutzy, captain with the Stone Creek Valley Fire Company said.

No one was hurt but a tractor and other equipment were inside the building.  No word on what caused the fire.
