HUNTINGDON COUNTY, Pa. --

A young man was flown to the hospital this morning after crashing into a river in Huntingdon County.

State police said it happened in Cromwell Township on Aughwick Creek Road just before 11 a.m.

Police said the driver lost control, hit a tree and then rolled down an embankment, and landed on its roof in the river.

He was not wearing a seat belt at the time. He was flown to UPMC Altoona. He was listed in serious condition on Sunday.
