Trailer carrying hay bales causes crash in Jefferson Co.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. --

A trailer that was carrying hay bales caused a crash in Jefferson County Friday night.

State police said it happened on Route 36 in Bell Township.

Police said the SUV was following the tractor hauling hay bales and didn't see it. It crashed into the back of it, and spun around on the road.

It caused another car in the opposite lane to hit into the trailer. Police said that tractor did not have any lights or reflectors on it, and the driver is expected to be charged.
