Driver killed when car crashes into creek

SNYDER TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A man was killed after crashing his vehicle into a creek in Jefferson County Thursday morning, state police said.

State police at DuBois said Joshua L. Smith, 33, was killed when the car he was driving crashed through a guiderail on Scottish Heights Drive in Snyder Township.

Police said after striking the guiderail, Smiths vehicle rolled down an embankment and into Rattlesnake Creek.

Police said Smith died at the scene.
