Police said the alleged assault happened between 9 and 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the prison in Benner Township, Centre County.

Police said a male inmate, who was not named, entered the area where the female employee, who was also not named, was working, and physically assaulted her.

The employee went unconscious and was discovered by other SCI Rockview employees, police said. The victim displayed signs of sexual assault when she was found.
