Drug task force searches Johnstown business

JOHNSTOWN, Pa.

Charges were filed against a store manager after Johnstown police and the Cambria County Drug Task Force raided a Market Street business Wednesday evening.

According to a criminal complaint, police seized drugs believed to be synthetic marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a .40-caliber handgun at J Town Fashions.

The stores manager, James Williams, is charged with a weapons violation. Police said Williams is a convicted felon who served time in federal prison on drug charges and, by law, he is not permitted to have a firearm.

Police said more charges related to drugs are expected to be filed.
