Local counseling center celebrates 25th anniversary serving the community

We realize that of course with the mass shootings we had in the last 20 years, they seem to be increasing, Penn Highlands Vice President of Academic affairs Ted Nicholes said.

Westmont Family Counseling Ministries is reminding the community that help is available for those who seek it.

With the recent mass shootings in Washington D.C., Westmont Family Counseling Ministries is hoping something so tragic could be avoided, stressing the importance of having counseling services.

There is a lot of pressure these days and I think people need to find a way to deal with that in a constrictive way, he said.

On October 2nd, Westmont Family Counseling Ministries will celebrate their 25th anniversary at the Sunnehanna Country Club.
