Search for new McCort principal moving forward

By: WJAC Web Staff

The process of finding a new principal for Bishop McCort High School in Johnstown is moving forward.

Monday's Tribune-Democrat reports that consultant's hired by the school's Board of Trustees will be accepting applications for the job until Friday.

The school has been without a principal since March, when Principal Ken Salem was placed on administrative leave in the wake of sex abuse allegations made against former McCort athletic trainer Brother Stephen Baker.

Salem resigned in June.

No date for choosing a new principal had been set as of Monday. Stay with 6 News and for continuing coverage.
