Man seriously injured in Somerset Co. crash

Police continue to investigate crash

SOMERSET TOWNSHIP, Pa. State police at Somerset are investigating a one-vehicle crash that left a man seriously injured.

Police said Cooper Beals, of Somerset, suffered major injuries after his vehicle left the roadway and struck a wooden fence, a brick post and a steel sign early Monday morning.

Police said the crash happened at about 3:40 a.m. in the area of Super City Motor Sports on Glades Pike in Somerset Township.

Beals had to be extricated from the vehicle and flown to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center for treatment of his injuries, police said.
