Pa. man killed in wrong-way crash in western Md.

HANCOCK, Md. -- Maryland State Police said a Pennsylvania man died after he was traveling the wrong way on Interstate 70 in western Maryland and hit a pickup truck head-on.

Police said Larry Allen Martz's car was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-70 near Hancock on Sunday night when it collided head-on with the truck.

Martz, 50, of Mayport Pa., in Clarion County, was flown to Meritus Medical Center, where he died.

Three people in the truck were treated on the scene for injuries.
