Teenager killed in car accident

GREENWOOD TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Police said Adrienne J. Stucke, 19, was killed after hitting an icy patch on the roadway, Sunday.

The car Stucke was driving, a 2004 Mazda 6, when she hit an icy patch on the roadway and traveled across into the path of the north bound lane on Route 219 in Greenwood Township, Clearfield, police said.

Stuckes passenger Jefferson D. Thomas, 22, suffered major injuries and was flown to the Altoona hospital, police said.

Stuckes car hit head on with a Ford F 150 and the driver of the truck Brent A. Conklin, 39, suffered minor injuries.

Conklin was taken to the DuBois hospital by ambulance.

Both cars suffered major damage.
