Beal pleads in death case

SOMERSET, Pa. Somerset Countys district attorney said 24-year-old Jonathan Beal pleaded guilty in the death of a Meyersdale teenager.

Investigators said Beal strangled his girlfriend, Justine Jackson to death and buried her body along the Great Allegheny Passage in Meyersdale.

He is facing a maximum of 24 years behind bars for pleading to voluntary manslaughter, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse.
