Somerset Co. man injures hand after cannon explodes

SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. --

A Somerset County man, 20, was flown to the hospital after a homemade cannon exploded in his hand Saturday.

Somerset county dispatch says it happened around 9 p.m. on Camp Ground Road in Addison. He was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in West Virginia.

Dispatch said the bleeding was controlled, but state police are continuing to investigate.
