CamCo Diversified fire ruled accidental, caused $350K in damage

ST MARYS, Pa. -- According to the Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal and the Crystal Fire Department, a large fire broke out at the CamCo Diversified building, causing severe damage.

According to the fire chief, flames were showing when they arrived at the building.

Fire crews immediately, they established a water supply and started to put out the fire.

According to the fire marshal the cause of the fire was determined to be accidental.

Ashes were improperly stored in a cardboard drum and accumulated enough heat to cause the drum to ignite.

The fire then spread to a nearby partition wall, and caused partial roof and exterior wall collapse.

The damage is estimated at $350,000.
