Both were in their late 50s and believed to be husband and wife. State police were notified after family members asked troopers to check on the couples' welfare.

Corporal William Link with the Somerset barracks said he believes family members did not hear from the Harkcoms over the weekend and became concerned.

Police said a cause or manner of death will not be released until after autopsies are performed on Tuesday morning.
