Two decades later, search continues for missing Centre Co. woman

By: WJAC Web Staff

BELLEFONTE, Pa. -- More than two decades after a Centre County woman disappeared from the bar she was working at, there's still no sight of her as family and friends continue to look for answers.

Brenda Condon was last seen working as a bar waitress at Carl's Bad Tavern a few miles outside Bellefonte on Feb. 27, 1991. Condon was supposed to close up for the night, but the next day the only sign of her were her cowboy boots found inside the bar.

Now 23 years later, the investigation hasn't turned up much, but family and friends continue to hold out hope and are utilizing social media to help them in their search.

The bar was near the interchange with Interstates 99 and 80, and has since been turned into another restaurant.
