Abraham Lincoln to be added to PA museum

By: WJAC Web Staff and The Associated Press

GETTYSBURG, Pa. -- A new life-sized historical figure is to be added at the American Civil War Wax Museum in Gettysburg.

Abraham Lincoln is to be added on the auction block at the museum.

For more than half a century the Pennsylvania museum has occupied a spot near the 1863 battlefield.

Recently it closed down for renovation.

The museum will reopen as the Gettysburg Heritage Center, which will focus on the experience the residents had around the time of the Civil War battle.

On March 15 an auction will be held featuring diorama contests, a reproduction of Gilbert Stuarts 1976 portrait of George Washington and dozens of historical figures.
