"Johnstown Jet" Larod rehabs, waits on NFL visits

Johnstown-native Larod Stephens-Howling played less than one game for the Pittsburgh Steelers last September before a torn ACL suddenly ended his season. Considering he was only signed to a one-year contract, the "Johnstown Jet" is an NFL free agent.

WJAC caught up with Stephens-Howling on Sunday at a sled hockey event at Planet Ice in Richland Twp. He told us he's still working on rehabilitating his knee, but as soon as the doctors give him the "thumbs up," he plans on visiting NFL teams.

Larod said he loved his time with the Steleers organization and hopes to get another shot on their roster, but knows it might be out of his control.
