Like anyone with a desk job, long hours of sitting usually equals pain, pressure and discomfort.

This week, Try It Thursday puts an orthopedic seat cushion, Deluxe Seat Solution, to the test.

Our tester, Laura Drenner, works at a desk all day and said she typically will stand up or go for a walk through the office through the day to ease pain.

After trying the cushion, Drenner said, "I thought at first it would be sort of a leaning position, but it seems to help you sit more straight up and it's a lot more comfortable."

That's just what the Seat Solution claims to do: ease the pressure on the tailbone and restore the spine to its natural S-shaped curve.

Just like sitting at work for long hours, Drenner said she also gets uncomfortable if she's in the car for more than an hour.

"I would definitely go buy one. It has really seemed to help lower back pain and there doesn't seem to be that pressure there," Drenner said. "This would be something I would definitely take with me and recommend to the other parents who have lower back problems."
