Try It Thursday: Stops The Sting

No matter if it's a bee, wasp, fire ant, or mosquito bite, Stops The Sting claims to be the only ointment you'll ever need to make it through the summer.

Mike Fultz, the inventor of Stops The Sting, stopped in the Alleghenies to prove to us, it works. "It neutralizes the venom. It doesn't numb it like a lot of products on the market, it actually kills the venom. If you kill the venom, you kill the problem. No itching, no burning, it stops all of it."

We went to Mimi's Country Shop & Apiaries in Ebensubrg to try it out.

Fultz got stung by a bee first. Then he removed the stinger and applied the ointment. "Pain is gone," said Fultz.

Of course Fultz is going to say it works. The only real way to find out is to have Melissa Matthews give it a shot.

"The pain is gone. It passed the test and I'm not swelling up," said Matthews.

Bee keeper Bernie Svidergol also tried it out. "I would use this. I'll put a tube in my bee suit," said Svidergol.

Stops The Sting got a thumbs up.
