Story

JamieO Bio

Jamie Oberdick lives in Port Matilda, PA. Jamie has had a life-long interest in meteorology that he believes started when he witnessed a foot-deep snowstorm at the age of four.

Jamie worked for AccuWeather from 2002 until 2005 as a marketing communications coordinator. He currently works for Penn State University as a publications editor with Teaching and Learning with Technology, a unit of Information Technology Services.

As part of this blog, he will contribute his thoughts and observations about weather in the Centre County region of the WJAC viewing area.

Jamie was born in York, PA, and also lived in Pittsburgh for 12 years. He lives in Port Matilda with his wife and three cats, including one that may be as enthused about snow as he is.
