Once downloaded, the Desktop Alert sits in your task bar at the bottom of your computer screen and will blink and make a sound when there is national or local breaking news from WJAC-TV News.

CURRENT DESKTOP ALERT USERS

You must first uninstall the old version in order to install the new one. Follow the steps below:

If Desktop Weather is running, right click on the Desktop Weather icon and then choose exit. Select Start menu, then Programs. Go to Desktop Weather listing, click on Uninstall Desktop Weather. Click YES when you are prompted. Follow instructions to load the NEW Desktop Alert.
