Story

Jim Burton

Chief Meteorologist

Jim Burton is a broadcast veteran of almost 20 years, working in both radio and television.

He began his career at WYDD and WHTX radio in Pittsburgh as a morning personality. He later moved to Philadelphia, and along with radio and television, he developed a career as a hired voice for commercials, documentaries, videos and even cartoons.

Jim has always had a deep interest in science and becoming a weather forecaster seemed a natural fit. In the future, he hopes to teach and coach young talent entering the broadcast industry.
