Tony Martin

WJAC-TV News At 5, 6, and 11PM Meteorologist

Tony is originally from the Johnstown area. After growing up in Windber, he and his family moved to the Pittsburgh area for about 12 years following the family business. After returning to Johnstown, Tony graduated from Richland High School and later was certified as a meteorologist from Mississippi State University. He holds the seal of approval from the American Meteorological Society for meeting their high standards for on-air weather forecasting. He is also a member of the National Weather Association.

Tony's life changed for the better in 2004 when he married his long time friend Donna. She's a Johnstown native, graduated from Bishop McCort and from Penn State. She now works for Homeland Security. Tony and Donna have a son, Geno, born on December 23rd of 2007 and a daughter, Lauren, born November 18th of 2008.

Sunday: The day will start with some sunshine but clouds will roll back in later in the afternoon.

Monday: A storm system will move up the coast, bringing a chance for a bit of rain.

Discussion: A strong cold front will arrive for the middle of next week, ushering in the coldest airmass of the season so far. Some snow is likely on Thanksgiving and Friday.
