June 15, 2012: A break from gruesome testimony

By Gary Sinderson

The Sandusky trial is on hold for the weekend, reportedly due to some technical issues which has been the only factor that’s slowed this trial.   Prosecutors from the Attorney General’s office are out of town. Was going to tell them there's mall nearby with a Radio Shack that probably has everything you need. But it is good to have a day away from some of the most gut wrenching, gruesome testimony ever heard in courtroom one. Joe Amendola, Sandusky's attorney, hinting the defense will only need three days to present their case. One day for members of the Sandusky family to testify, and two days to talk Jerry out of testifying.

I realize the opinion is written by a Philly law firm, and it discusses another state group (The Attorney General’s office) but to tell the former President of Penn State, Graham Spanier, to get in line with the rest of us, and fill out a Right To Know form, to get information out of Dear Old State...is not only highly ironic, but also, someone at Old Main has a sense of humor...
