When thinking about last winter, many of us remember it being somewhat cold and snowy at times. But look at the image on the left. This time last year, we had almost no snow yet. But thanks to our Halloween storm this year, we're running well above average already.
It looks like there's more snow possible next week as much colder air arrives on the backside of an early-week storm system. Some lake effect snow is possible midweek, with another storm potentially coming our way later in the week.
Tony is originally from the Johnstown area. After growing up in Windber, he and his family moved to the Pittsburgh area for about 12 years following the family business.
