Washington, DC -- (Sports Network) - Asjha Jones had a game-high 27 points to help the Connecticut Sun to an 82-60 win over the Washington Mystics at Verizon Center in the last game for both clubs before the monthlong Olympic break..Jones went 10-for-16 from the floor and hit seven of her eight free throws while Tamika Whitmore added 13 points for the Sun, who have won three straight on the heels of a five-game losing streak. Taj McWilliams-Franklin had 11 points and six rebounds while Crystal Langhorne added 10 points and five boards for the Mystics, who have dropped four of their last six. Connecticut outscored Washington, 40-29, in the first half and increased its lead by 10 points in the third quarter on the way to the win.
